Heavy oil contamination will block penetration — the surface must be degreased first. Pressure-wash or use a concrete degreaser, allow to dry fully, then apply the hardener. For industrial floors with deep oil penetration, a dedicated oil-resistant primer may be needed as a pre-treatment step.
